Succession Of Falling For You
by   Wrigley

It was fandango, flutter,
and young soft melodies
Compositions of odds
with ethereal effects.

It was euphony exhausting
the timbre of pleasure;
perched on the sails
of a night.

It was timelessness
nudging the sound
of your voice; lips
citing couplet rhymes.

It was myrtle and myrrh
waiting for fate,
to capture the scent
that was ours.

It was a soiree affair;
a dance that began
the succession of falling
for you.
