Distant Shores
by Brenda Lee White

Standing along a distant shore, my face turned towards the sun

I can feel a soft breeze blow across my face

as I smile and know that my guy has blown me a kiss.

Standing along the distant shore I close my eyes

and let my mind wander to another place and time

where my guy holds me close and whispers so low...

bren i love you *S*

Standing along the distant shore I feel his closeness

as our souls connect thru time and space to hold

and love each other, to make the distance of these shores

seem less far. Standing along the distant shore

I know the time will come when once again my guy

will cross the waters to my shore and no longer

will there be distant shores.
