Emptiness
by Syrina Ann Woods
Oceans of blue, skies of gray
being lonely, day by day.
Having no friends, being afraid
of what might come or happen today.
We look up at the clouds, wondering when this day will end,
we ask for an answer but only hear laughter.
Thoughts fill my mind of only the bad
you wonder why they are laughing?
Finally this day comes to an end
you thank god that today is over.
But you still have to live day by day
but as the days go, don't be afraid.
