Unwanted Child
by Angelia
Today at school I saw a girl.
She glanced at me,
and though is was just a moment,
it told me she lives in such an unhappy world.
Her innocence was stolen
and in return
she gained a baby,
I heard her tell someone.
She never wanted it to be this way.
This unwanted child,
with it's untouched soul,
will be brought into a world
to a mother with no control.
This common miracle,
life happens everyday,
will be born nameless,
and lost along it's way.
And this girl,
with such a common disposition,
looked at me and warned,
never give in to such a strong temptation.
I felt a little sorry for her,
her life has changed forever,
and bringing to this world a baby
who will never know it's father.
She walked away from me
and went down the hall,
and she walked past some boys
who began to call.
They called her such horrible names,
everyday is just the same.
I wondered why
they thought they could judge her,
when they don't know her.
They simply think they know
why she leads the life she does,
they will never understand,
they will never stand in her shoes.
So I think about this girl
everyday now,
and I often wonder
if her life is better somehow.
I hope she will have her baby,
and love it with all of her heart,
and never regret a thing she did,
never want to go back to start.
Always love the choices made,
take life by the hand,
never be afraid.
Like everyone you see,
love everyone you kiss.
Love life no matter what,
always remember this.
