Good-bye, Now you Know
by Douglas  William  Thomson

Just one last, last time my darling
One last time before I let you go,
Good-bye my dear I loved you
I loved you, but you didn't know.

The years have passed us by quickly
You went and married someone new,
Hello my empty heart good-bye
Good-bye dear lady I loved you.

I'm sorry but I'm still hurting
I now spend my nights alone,
Tears still fill my lonely eyes
I'm sorry but it hurts to the bone.

Enough!! Enough of this reminiscence
I'm just here so I can say good-bye,
Not to stir up forgotten feelings
Or to see if I can make you cry.

So, good-bye my love in life
It's past time, that I should let you go,
So good-bye, good-bye it's over now
It's all over and now you know.
