She
by Juliet D. Kiss

A white Rose hath fallen
pure with Love,
So open, so free,
So fragile was she!
Her heart planted deep
and standing so proud,
he came along, saw it
glimmering through the crowd!
Curiosity overtook him
as he swam through her mind,
Each petal opened softly in time!
All her dreams were hidden,
She opened her shell!
glowing for his eyes like a pearl.
Opening the hearts, hopes, dreams, and
fears!
All her secrets, to hold for years!
Watching as he listens and waits,
for her heart to pour out before he takes!
Her eyes grew tired, and her heart was now dry!
All the life flowed out
as it's heart slowly dies!
So Sincere, so Pure, so True
the things proper to say,
Words followed by a smile
telling her it's better this way!
Sweet white dove, just close your eyes
you won't need to see!
Fly into my cage, blind and hopelessly.
With each breath, spread your wings!
my spell will embrace and hold you to me!
The heart can now cry, scream, and plead,
there's no escape! You belong to me!
He doth grow weary, he hath grew bored,
he wants it no longer
now that it's torn.
She is left to pick the petals up,
She learned greatly!
never to let him drink from her cup!
