Can love hurt this much?
by Adrianne  Dahl

Love is a heartache,
Love is a pain.
Love is a knife bringing on pain.
Love is hurtful,
Love is unkind.
Love is something that slips away with time.
Love is supposed to be good,
Love is supposed to bring happiness,
But why does Love hurt so much when it's gone.
Love is fragile,
Love is so frail,
Love is so breakable it can bring on hail.
Hail of hurt, hail of pain,
Hail of lost Love from another day.
When I lost love I cried,
When I lost Love I had hail,
When I lost Love- that time it hit like a nail.
Love is supposed to be from the heart,
But why when it's gone it just tears you apart?
