Where Would I Be
by Jennifer Marie File

In time I shall be just fine,
as you never would be mine.
I will just sit and wonder where would I be,
as if I never had you here with me.
You are the light I see in the morning day,
It's actually funny in a sort of way.
You make me smile inside and out,
I just want to yell out and shout.
You do these things to me that I never dreamed I had,
Now I sit here all alone and sad.
Where would I be if I never met you?
I don't know exactly and now what do I do?
I'm lost and lonely in this world all alone,
Maybe it would be best if I was out on my own.
To forget I ever met you and and see where I'd be,
It'd be easy for you to forget one like me.
I'd leave and never turn back,
Go my own way and stay on the same track.
Where would I be in this world all alone?
Maybe it would be best if I were out on my own.
My inspiration, my love, my heart,
We were never to be, right from the start.
I will miss you so, and keep you close,
Yet, you are gone, it's what I chose.
           Where would I be,
Look for me, you will see...
