I Wonder...
by Eleanor Jane Donut
I wonder why you don't miss me,
Or fret when I'm away,
I guess it's 'cause you fill your time,
There's not enough hours in every day.
I wonder why you don't kiss me,
Or show me some affection,
You don't like to show me in public,
You don't need the attention.
I wonder why you don't laugh,
When I try to make a joke,
Perhaps I'm not as funny,
As funny as a bloke.
I wonder why you don't call me,
When you promise that you will,
Your dad won't let you use the phone,
Your mum's just got the bill.
I wonder why you don't show your love,
And why you are not true,
Perhaps it's because you're lying,
Or because you know I love you.
