he led you on
thinking you had another chance
but when you were around him
he wouldn't even glance

all your friends
knew he was a jerk
but you wanted him back
to get him you would work

when he talked about other girls
you acted happy for him
but now deep down you hated her
for making your chances more dim

you knew you liked him alot
but if you got back together
the same thing would happen
over and over and again

so you decided to let 
him go
we're just good friends
you let everyone know

you'll alwayss be friends
you still like him though
that's why it's called
letting him go
