Act II
by John Quang Le
How do I love again?
Let me find the way.
For my love is far and deep and everlasting,
and my heart's desire is to love but one,
with having no thoughts of another.
How do I love again?
Shall I succumb until the day,
when my heart bleeds no more for the other,
and I have no doubt in my being true to you,
or is forever too long to wait?
How do I love again?
I wish to love all that you portray,
as you are, in all your beautiful shining colors,
and not you, as an image of another.
How can I be sure?
