The Story of My One True Love
by Rosalinda  Adams

Little girl, little girl, here you are
A beautiful young lady, seeking the star
Dreams are coming true and are no more far
Ambitious and happy, yes you are

Confused, worried, sitting on that chair
Playing with my fingers, and rolling my hair
Thinking and hoping I?ll get my chance
To start the first step of my future dance

Waiting and waiting, till he came
Minutes were hours of heat and flame
I knocked on his door and stepped inside
I gave him a shy look that I couldn?t hide

He calmed me down with his wonderful smile
Isn?t he charming? I thought for a while
I stared and gazed into his shinning face
Trying to find out if I might have a place

I got it, I?m happy, I want to fly
My heart is beating, it?s reaching the sky
Bad news, bad news, for you to know
His finger has a special shine and glow

Intelligent, handsome, adorable and white
He is my man, my day dream's knight
Wearing a white gown, and being his light
A far away picture, a forbidden sight

Reading, writing, drawing and more
Spending the day and acting the role
Working so hard to reach the goal
Winning and loosing, together in all

Talking and laughing, hours and more
Impressed, attracted, reached his core
He has a deep look, that I cant resist
Little girl, little girl, do you exist?

Beautiful eyes, I like them so much
I couldn?t believe he gave that touch
He was honest, I thought he?s kind
I never knew that there was more behind

Dancing, singing, laughing and more
Everyone was standing on the same floor
But we were alone, in a far away world
Sharing a look our eyes couldn?t hold

Shinning in black and dancing along
I saw his looks, they were so strong
My eyes cried, a lot that night
I only wanted to see the light

Red and white, laying on my desk
Could it be him? Well, that?s a risk!
?Friend, the best times are shared with you?
In a beautiful heart these words came through

Little girl, little girl, you do exist
His heart and mind could not resist
The words came out and were so true
"I love you" he said and you love him too

The world is nice, my life is complete
We have strong feelings that no one can beat
It?s strange how deeply touched we are
We called it chemistry that came from the star

We listen, we talk, we are so obsessed
We laugh, we walk, we think we?re blessed
We share the stories and feel so high
To know our love is reaching the sky

Blue sea, shinning sun, we always pass by
Somewhere alone where we can say hi
We forget the world, we dream, we fly
We let our hearts climb so high

I know him deeply, I feel him so strong
I can even tell when there?s something wrong
He reads my eyes, he lives inside
He knows me well, I can never hide

We share the happiness, we share the sad
Some days are good and others are bad
No matter what happens, no matter how mad
We have each other, we are so glad

We fight, I cry, my tears come down
He?s mad, he?s angry, look at that frown
No matter what happens, we're never let down
He smiles, I smile, he deserves a crown

Do you want to know why I love him such?
He?s everything I want, and even much
I love the way he makes me feel
He makes me happy, he makes it real

His words are rhyming into my ear
He says good things I like to hear
?My baby? he calls me, I feel no fear
I feel the world is holding here

I flew away, I reached the end
I forgot there are things I have to attend
I cried and cried, I couldn?t stand
Now, I have a golden ring in my hand

I said I loved him, but I lied
I knew this was more than love I felt inside
I loved him deeply, I knew it was wrong
I couldn?t resist, it was so strong

I engraved his love, by my fingers, in my heart
We both know that we have to be apart
But his name is here living inside
Whenever I look at him, It will never hide
