Forever
by Tessa Marrie Walker

forever in a life time
he'd always be here with me
forever in a life time
that's what he promised me

until he had to go away
so very far away
forever in a life time
he wouldn't be here with me

he had to break his promise
the one that meant so much
why did he have to go away
that's what i wonder much

now i sit and try to talk
but i get no reply
forever in a life time
and i just wonder why

i wish i could be with him
but now that can't be
'cause he's in a far away place
a far away place without me

i think i'll go and be with him
but how do i get the guts
to pull this knife across my wrist
will it hurt so much

but i think i'd do anything
just to hear his voice
forever in a life time
the words i remember most

now as i lie here
i think i'm fading fast
i can't wait to be with him
forever it will last

This is all i have to tell him:
i love you so much
and i'd do anything to be with you
even bleed to death

so don't be scared
'cause i'll be there soon
forever in a life time
this i promise you
