I Remember You
by Alexis Lousie Johnson

I got a call around 10:00pm.
They said that you would never
Come back again.

You were gone and all I could do
Was think of all
The good times I had with you.

I remember Christmas morning.
I remember New Year's Eve.
I remember all the Birthday cards
You ever gave to me.

My heart was crushed.
A piece of me was gone.
I never knew how much I cared
Until you where gone.

I will never forget you,
Dear Grandma of mine,
And when I grow old and pass away,
I hope to see you again someday.
