my love
by   Zeekman

I dream of a time that may never come,
a time when I would see my only love,
a time when heaven and earth shall collide,
a time when my walk will be a strutful stride.

I dream of a meeting for all my life to want,
but all I can do now is spiffy up my font.
I wish it were truer but this may you see,
a dislikedness buried deep within me.

I dream of a face more elegant than gold,
an angel so beautiful that maybe I could hold.
The being of my sight so wonderfully grand,
what I wouldn't do to grasp hold of her hand.

With a glazed look in my eye I stare,
out a window into the open air;
and also of this I dream at night,
as I'm snuggled up so warm and tight.

In my time of mind
at utmost peace so skew,
my conciousness is flooded
most dominantly with you.
