Lost Lovers
by   Falling Angel

Haunted was I by a dream
It tossed in my head
Yet it wasn't of me
But of two others
The guardian of wind
Her lover a mortal man
I'm not quite sure the story
Only that they loved deeply
They met upon a mortal plain
She appeared a young woman
Her hair long and white
Skin warm cream
Petite in stature she smiled
That shy smile captured his heart
For two days they laughed and played
Yet the wind became violent
Began it's destruction
Reminding her of her duties and birth
She told him she must return home
Golden tears touching her eyes
He held her close once more
Feeling a deep chasm opening in him
Then with the wind she was gone
She embraces him softly when he is lost
Filling for a moment the chasm she left
Yet he is helpless to return the embrace
For how does one capture the wind?
