BROKEN TRUST
by RHYME AND REASON

I THOUGHT I COULD TRUST YOU WITH MY LIFE,
I THOUGHT I COULD TRUST YOU AS MY WIFE.
YOU MADE MY WORST FEARS COME TRUE,
MY FEARS OF NO LONGER HAVING YOU.
NOW THESE FEARS ARE BECOMING REALITY,
ALL BECAUSE YOU CHEATED ON ME.
WITH EVERY LIE A PART OF ME BEGINS TO DIE,
YOU CAN NO LONGER LOOK ME IN THE EYE.
YOU NEVER MEAN A WORD YOU SAY,
YOU HURT ME IN THE STRONGEST WAY,
AND IN MY HEART THIS PAIN WILL STAY.
IT HURTS ME NOW THAT WE MUST PART,
BUT IT'S YOUR FAULT ... BECAUSE YOU BROKE MY HEART.
