Lost Treasure
by Enigma  labyrith

Like the holy grail,
  or the city of Atlantis
your love for me was buried deep
  it was a lost treasure

lost in a crypt, an archive of time
it was cast into a black hole
forgotten forever
  it was a lost treasure.

dropped from an ocean liner
  over the deepest trench
in a box of metal and stone
  it was a lost treasure.

Put on a shuttle, sent to the farthest reaches
  of known space
to be left there fogotten and alone
  it was a lost treasure.

It was a rare species
  which got eradicated
by hate and destruction
  it was a lost treasure.

As I look into your eyes and see...
NOTHING! a sun void of light
hate without love
  it was lost treasure.

A lost treasure...
  Forever and ever...
