Untitled
by Kevin  Strong

Bright streaks of electric fire
Split the night in twain
They looked each other in the eyes
And knew they'd never meet again

They had their endless summer
Which they never will forget
But now they go their separate ways
So glad that they have met

With one last glance, they drift apart
Each heart holds in the pain
And as they turn their backs to leave
The sky lets loose the rain
