WALKING
by Ella  Kay

Dappled light through the trees
Crisp cool air on my face
Brilliant hues cling,
then become falling leaves
Your warm hand clasping mine.

Shy glances, knowing smiles
Contented silence...walking
Long strides, tiny steps
Compromise.....rythm....walking

Need to touch
a hand, arm
bodies brushing together
Stopping...
A palm placed gently on a cheek
a smile, a kiss
a sigh
walking.......

Peace is found in 'being'
quiet chatting, youthful giggles
new found love
walking.....
