lost to the ocean
by Evan  the cheshire cat

My lady destruction
My angel, my wings
Through simple construction
You're an end to all things.

Your love and your passion
I cannot resist,
We fade like old fashion
And cease to exist.

One second to midnight,
Your final release
Indulging in calm flight,
She's finding her peace.

Returning to my hands
With fire down below,
We crumbled like beach sand
In blue undertow.

Dissolved like the soft tear
That hangs in her eye
It has become quite clear
We are saying goodbye.

So, farewell to sour kisses
Still hung on my lips,
For one who still misses
Your pearly wingtips
