Golden Light
by John Kent
In the light of the evening star,
I see your face, a smile,
a flip of raven hair,
a tease from sparkling eyes.
I hear your laugh skip lightly on the air.
Your walk of careless grace, so right;
and as I stride here by your side,
I feel the night embrace your charms;
enchanted by your essence...
a glow, that lights the stars.
Inside, a world of golden light,
where all true lovers go.
I hold your heart, a gentle place,
enraptured by your love.
