hush, my darling
by Natalia  Buckova

Hush, my darling,
Do not cry and do not suffer.
Let go, for your heart is rare;
It burns with tender feeling.
Do not demolish the magnificent gift
That has been given to you.

Hush, my darling
And let go,
For he won't look back,
Just as you can?t come to a compromise.
It is already done,
No one can turn back time.

Hush, my darling,
You have made a decision
That is tearing you apart,
But listen to those words,
There is no going back!

Hush, my darling,
I know that feeling.
The ache is nipping at you
And you can not escape
From the maze,
As your eyes deny seeing the light is out.

Hush, my darling,
Do not try to look calm
When you abide on inside,
When your flesh is shaking
And your blood is boiling.

Hush, my darling,
Do not hide inside and not come out.
Let the light shine again
And let the dark vanish from your sight.

Hush, my darling,
Do not beg and do not abase.
Be strong and have courage
To come out
And admit that you were wrong.
