When I cease to be...
by Brian K. Oertel

When I chose to cease to be,
Will you know what you mean to me?
Will you believe my words, my love?
I?ll always watch you from above

When I die, in the ground I lay
Will you hear the words I say?
Will you believe me when I pray
That I love you more each day

When I chose to cease to be
Will you know what you mean to me?
I?m your hate, I?m your love
You're my angel from above

My heart melts when I see your eyes
With you, no love ever dies
Please take my love and my pleas
'Cuz without you I cease to be.

I never want to see you sad
I never want you to feel bad
No more sadness, no more pain
No more doubts in your brain

Only love I have for you
Never a reason to feel blue
Embrace the love you have for me
Because if not I'll cease to be.

If you chose to cherish me
I will promise to never flee
In your arms I will always lay
In your heart I will always stay

I love you, baby, and this is true
I hope one day I mean this to you
You are my world and my life
Will you honor me and be my wife?

I don?t ask now but some time near
Loving you has no fear
Without you I can?t be
Because without you I cease to be
