Your Hands, My Heart
by Stephanie Nicole Phillips

So, the decision has been made,
It's 'bout time for it to rain.
The tears from my eyes are drying.
Yet, they just keep multiplying.

Those Words I read...
Made me wish I was a little dead.
The pain jumped from my heart to my brain.
(I'm beginning to smell the rain.
As if it has already started pouring.)

I hate the part where...
I'm beginning to feel lonely again.

The pain you left me with has me at a slight grin;
Look at the positions we got ourselves in.
It has started raining, the clouds are grey.
Thunder and lightning for every heart-ache.

I wanna forget it all- but now I?m at the point
Where the feelings are taking hold of my heart
As if it is your hands ripping it apart.
