Torn
by Isabella  Perrier

Beautiful, quietlY my heart has torn
Pure and innocent it was all along.

Trust hid me from this awful lie, but your betrayal was not so shy.
When all of it finally came to light,
You were in too deep with eyes so bright.

With the love that was given, how could have you strayed?
When you looked into my eyes HOW could have you betrayed?

Life shattered into pieces and a broken trust,
Why did you give all this up for some meaningless lust?

Too many questions, a restless mind
All my feelings, I know bind.

Beautiful, quietly my heart has torn
Pure and innocent it was all along.
