Forgotten
by Val  A

As you sit and search for your destiny,
you somehow forgot- you chose me.
I smile and touch you with ease,
still somehow you have forgotten about me.

I cook, I clean and treat you like my king,
still somehow you have forgotten about me.
I am not trying to come off mean or rude
instead trying to give you a clue.

I try to make you aware of what you do
and wanting you to know how much I love you.
I love you more than you know
but I am afraid you don?t know how to let yours show.

I try to please you but it never seems to be enough
I just feel forgotten, robbed of my woman hood,
brought down, just someone who?s there...
but let me assure you I never said you didn?t care.

I just want you to know...
I don?t think you treat me fair.
