Once upon a love time
by Robbie A. Makhoul
Met you once, loved you once, and even twice,
But you played your love with a roll of the dice.
What did you really want? You never knew.
You led yourself into a hole, dragging me in with you.
You dragged my love to a mountain top,
Found out yours was on another and you let me drop,
Letting me drop in an endless fall,
Until I realized how my love was ever so tall.
Tall enough to forget the love and memories I shared with you,
Fake memories and love that never would have come true,
Until I found those eyes that said the future to be,
A beautiful girl that would share the same love for me.
The one and only that I found on the mountain peak,
The one and only that can make my heart so weak,
Only she can take the pain away,
Making every day of mine a brighter day.
Because one touch, only her touch,
Can heal my heart and such.
That is why she is the one with whom I can share my love, too,
The one and only to whom I can say I love you.
