Without You
by Megan Jenna Taylor

I'm the pain in your heart,
I'm the tear in your eye,
I'm the mystery in those days that the time flies by.
I'm the star in the sky that always catches your eye,
I'm the sadness in your voice when you say good-bye.
I'm the voices in your head,
I'm the lyrics to your song,
I'm what keeps you going, all day long.
I'm the words that you said,
I'm the tears that you shed.
I'm the sunshine when there's rain,
I'm the colors in the sky,
I'm the red in the cheeks, when you get shy.
I'm the heat when it's cold,
I'm the wisdom when you're old.
I'm the sweetness in the sugar,
I'm the cherries in the pie,
I'm the magic in the wings that make the birds fly high.
I'm the love note passed in class,
And the smile on your face.
I'm the adrenaline in your veins,
I'm your favorite place.
I'm the butterfly so bold and blue,
But I'm nothing without you!
