Hugs & Kisses
by Karen Lynnette Tompkins
If words alone could sum it up,
Then thanks would be enough.
I?d thank you for your kindness,
I?d thank you for your humour,
I?d thank you for your openness,
And I?d say all this with ardour.
If by action I could show you,
Then gently I?d pursue.
I?d gently stroke your body;
I?d gently hold you in my arms;
I?d gently call you, ?Shorty?,
And share with you my charms.
I?d tell you that I cared for you;
And shower you with hugs & kisses.
I?d speak the words sans any issue;
For in them are all my wishes.
But if words and actions don?t suffice
And you need it more concise;
Then look no further than my eyes,
For in them there is no vice.
