Love's Song
by david allen goodwin

Standing in the midst of a dream
you'd knew that I'd be there,
your love...it draws me to you
a love so pure, a love so rare.

The slightest thought you'd have of me
gives my soul a lift,
and nothing in this universe
could be a greater gift.

And even if the stars went black
and the sun forgot to shine,
no matter where we each would be
I'd know your love is mine.

For nothing stands between us
it will always be this way,
souls wrapped around each other
forever and a day.

For you are like the music
the song is etched upon my heart,
and as long as we're in tune
we'll never be apart.
