You?re All I Need
by Devin Rachelle Brown
Lonely as I am, together we stand.
One day I'll be there holding your hand.
I'll be by your side, holding you tight.
Now doesn't matter, nor does tonight.
If I cry, I think of you.
You stop me from anything I could do.
I smile and lay down to sleep.
Honey Bear, you're all I need.
So, I give to you my heart,
And pray you don't tear me apart.
I give to you my all and all.
I hope you'll catch me if I fall.
You're never here, not to hold.
Yet, you're always near to my soul.
You're my life, the air I breathe.
You are everything to me.
You're still confused, don't understand,
Why I want you oh so bad,
Why you mean the world to me?
Wait, and soon you shall see.
For next time we meet, I'll hold you tight.
I will not let you leave my sight.
I'll savor in your glorious taste,
And I won't leave a thing out of place.
No, next time we meet I won't leave your arms.
You keep me safe from this world's harms.
I want you to hold me until I fall asleep.
Honey Bear, you're all I need.
Soon this heartache will all end.
The sorrow will all be has-been.
Soon I'll be yours to hold and carry.
Soon, my love, we can marry.
I will always be such sweetness,
And loving you will never be neatness,
but always messy, known to destroy.
I am smart, but never coy.
So, my love, I give you my heart and soul.
I will always be yours to hold.
I will be there when you wake and when you sleep.
Honey Bear, you're all I need.
