Noah's Immature Daddy
by Cynthia A. Rivera
All you are is my baby's daddy;
So don't call me to meet you somewhere,
Me and you are through;
Your priority should be your son,
Of whom you helped create;
But all you do is chill with friends,
And not take a moment to know your son;
The years are passing so fast,
When you want to take Noah out, he won't wanna go;
If that happens - don't blame me,
When you come to visit him;
Don't be mad when he won't interact with you,
When you call him;
Don't get mad if Noah doesn't say much,
The time is now, if you want to know him;
When they are young and innocent,
With sparkles in their eyes...
I wish you would take a moment and realize,
How much you're missing out;
Your thoughts may be somewhere else,
But your priority should be Noah;
You say that Noah can't know his half-siblings,
Until you know him first;
So, now you are wanting the attention,
Instead of giving the attention to my/your son;
Ain't that a shame,
Our son is not to blame;
That he has a father as a coward,
I tell you to come and see him;
And all you give are excuses that you can't,
Spend a few moments with Noah;
At your age, (31), one would think;
You'd be responsible and stop creating babies,
Me and you are through;
Don't call me and say you want to see me,
You should want to see your son, not me;
If you want a booty call,
Don't think I'll give it up to you;
All you are is my baby's daddy,
And I'm sorry I didn't choose
A better father for my baby.
