In The End
by Rebecca J. Middleton

You made my world better when you stepped into my life
As I sit on my bed I smile, thinking of the memories
Our crazy time together, just laughing over nothing

I miss saying, "I love you more"
and hearing you say, "No, I love you more"
You didn't just see the beauty of me from the outside but also the inside

Which makes you different from many other guys
Most people don't see you like I do
I see the real you that comes out

And I look past the times you've broken my heart
Because I can see the you that is inside
I don't want to give up on you

Because if I do, I'm afraid you'll give up on yourself
I know this must be hard for you as it is for me
But think how much we've grown together to be where we are now

We've climbed over the highest mountain
God will give us the strength to get through this, I know
If only we just pray about it and this is meant to be
One day we will see that, in the end, there is You and Me.
