Waiting
by Jade N. Tran

I am waiting for the day,
you make your girlfriend go away,
and even if you never say,
I'll still be there anyway

I am waiting for the time,
when you are no longer blind,
and I can't wait for our hearts to bind,
but it won't happen because I was declined.

I am waiting for the place,
with that beautiful fresh clean taste,
you don't have to go through such a haste,
because I'm waiting for our very first date.

I am waiting for a sound,
when your're always hanging around,
and after a while you are bound,
to hear me when I soon will drown. (in love)

I am waiting for my love,
to fall from heaven up above,
and when he brings me a white dove,
He's sure to put on the glove,

I am waiting for a call,
I'm waiting, waiting, by the wall,
and please don't even try to stall,
or very soon I'm sure to fall.

I am waiting for those jeans,
to put on by all means,
as we're walking down the Queens,
because we are both normal teens.
