Quest of the Secret Lovers
by Breonne S. Breonne Haynes
Lurking around,
Trying to escape public eyes,
Making our way through the crowd,
So we can be alone...
Finally here we are,
Somewhere where no one can see us,
You look at me,
I look at you,
And finally I give into temptation...
A little kiss on the neck,
Then one on the cheek,
And suddenly you caress ur lips with mine...
A sensual kiss leads to even more,
Our sneaky deed is eventually done,
Satisfied, I lay there in estacy,
You roll over and stare into my eyes,
You glide your hand across my cheek ever so softly...
The touch of your skin sends shockwaves through my soul once again,
That feeling of pleasure never grows old...
You proceed to question what journey lies ahead,
I breathe a sign of relief knowing you wonder,
Next you unexpectedly reply, "I LOVE YOU"...
How could I possibly return the gift when we aren't even whole,
We had suggested to conceal our love
In fear of scandal being let to light,
Emotions weren't supposed to blend in,
The situation subsequently evolved itself,
None the less conjoin those six dreaded scarlet letters...
Wanting to feel the same, it's so agonizing...
Snapping back from Wonderland into reality,
Hesitation enprisons my thoughts and voice,
With only my heart remaining, It beats the exclaimation...
"Never could I offically surrender,
Until our quest as secret lovers ends..."
