Starless Night
by   Nobody's Angel

I look at my sky, it is dark and starless.
It is something I don?t want to face.
It is something I want to change.
I try to find my way to the star; avoid darkness.
Searching long and hard; barely a trace.
This star I seek it seems a little strange.

Sadly, this star I seek has a fear.
This star is between far and few.
This star, to me, I hold close and dear.
This star I seek is none other than you.

Such a lovely star you are to be afraid.
You should look at things a different way.
Don't give in to your fear.
Don?t waste all your efforts made.
Don?t let these emotions of yours stray.
Overcome your fear, my dear.

This one is different, as shady as those words may seem.
I promise you? this one is different.
I promise to make you happy,
Almost as though you were in a dream.
All your fears and problems,
If you let me, I can try to prevent.

Will you be my north star, my dear?
I promise to hold it near.
