A Name From The Bible
by Michelle L Snowden

Away away I must fly,
I can't have you by my side,
For I am taken by another man.
A commitment was made and I must stand,
Although I long to feel your touch,
I know how it feels, you were my first love.
I remember our passion and the long sleepless nights,
I close my eyes and fanaticize.
I imagined how it would be to see you again,
but never thought that I would be in this predicament.
I love you with all my heart, I feel you with all my soul.
Life has taken me on another path and I must now let you go.
I fear that I will think of you everyday,
I'm afraid my tears will give me away.

How do I let go of what I need?
Don't answer, I love you I must set you free,
My heart will be broken for eternity.
