Please God
by Ross Allan Berrier
Please God, I know we don't talk that much,
Or pray, or speak and stay in touch.
So, all I can say is... Sorry God,
For being such a sod.
The last time was to say thanks, for giving me my love,
We were so good together, she fit me like a glove.
But now I need another favour, I need your help again,
Please help me, God, and take away my pain.
You see I've lost that girl you gave me, all those years ago,
So, if you could help me get her back, so we can glow.
Please, God, please find it in your heart,
To guide me, help me, and grant a new start.
I know you know who she is, but here's some more information,
She's bright and beautiful, she's been my life?s love sensation.
God, if you could once again, steer her in my direction,
I promise we'll talk again soon, about our love and affection.
She is my life, she is my love, and never could I hate,
Please, just send me a sign, and tell me where to wait.
And if she finds her way back, back to me some way,
I make this promise to you, God, that we?ll talk everyday.
Please God......I love her in every possible way
