Suicide
by Addie  Millar

The doors are closing in on me.
They're fighting again!
Why can't they just shut up?
I try to get away,
but they always seem to find me and fight.
"It's your fault."
"No, it's your fault!"
All night long.

It's no use now,
they'll never stop!
These four glass walls close in on my body.
I want to get out,
get away from this place.
Then I see you,
I call out to you.

Wait, where's my voice?
Why can't you hear me?
Are you listening?
HELLO, ARE YOU DEAD?
I'm screaming for help
and you are just sitting there...
staring at me.

THAT'S IT! I'M DONE!
I can't take this anymore.
I begin to cry.
Then you begin to laugh.
Do you rally think this is funny,
watching me rot in these chains
to which the devil holds the key?

Do you think I can't see you?
Just get me out of here... PLEASE!
I wanna go home.
As these walls come closer and closer,
I try to get away,
but hiding my scars is just too hard...

I wake up the next morning,
a dream, but why? Why me?
I lie in my bed and wonder why...
crying until I die...
this is suicide...
