Buddies
by Cynthia A. Rivera

I've known you for sometime,
A few years, I believe;
Though we only meet a few times a year
We hang out and have a blast;
Being just you and me,
Or with a few of our friends;
Drinking til three in the morning,
We've been through alot;
It's nice to know that you share,
If you know what I mean;
And if you need a satisfaction,
Just give me a call and we'll take it from there;
All we are is friends with benefits,
Me and you;
And perhaps a few others,
What we do is our pleasure;
It's nice to know that you'll back me up,
If trouble comes my way;
And all we are is friends with benefits,
And that, my friend, I hope it'll stay;
No more no less.
