With eyes so warm and gentle, 
With a smile so soft and sweet; 
Is this coincidence 
Or were we suppose to meet? 

I would like to hear your voice, 
I would like to see your smile; 
I would like to get to know you better, 
Even if it's only for awhile; 

I know that this seems silly, 
but this is how it must be; 
I am asking here and now, 
would you be interested in someone like me; 
 
I am just a simple man, 
I have not much to say, 
But I intend to give my love away; 
In a very special way.

Treat a woman with respect 
with dignity and with pride; 
To listen to her cares and fears, 
And troubles deep down inside; 

To be the one she's counting on 
every single day, 
To give her all the love she needs; 
In a very special way, 

I know that you've been hurt before, 
And I've been hurt as well; 
But will the next one end up the same, 
Only time will tell; 

We will never know, 
unless we take the chance, 
Will we end up as friends 
or will it be romance? 

If your answer is no, 
I will understand, 
Just remember about the respect 
between a woman and man;
