to claim your love
by gladys jean johnson jones, brighteye

I will climb the highest slippery mountain.
Feet slipping from side to side, hands struggling.
My love I won't deny.
I will stand in heavy pouring rain
To touch you, your touch to gain.
I will risk sticky, sinking quick sand.
I love you, do you understand?

I will risk flames, your love to claim.
For real, no game, it's true.
I love you, I do.
You're my fire, my desire.
I'll go the extra length.
You're my iron, my strength.

Your love builds me stronger.
My foundation is steady.
Keeping your ears, our communication ready.
You're my juicy juice.
When i feel depressed, my skin you caress.
You soothe my mind.
In the midst of night, as owls speak.
For, your love I'll seek.

I'll risk it all for your love to call.
Hear it! I love you dear.
I'll climb, swim. crawl on hands and knees.
With you is where I desire to be.
