Midnight Sight
by M. Mason Moore

If the moon were you
and the sea was me
you'd shine your beauty
and I'd reflect it - truly.
And together we'd share
the sweet sea air
each night entwined
until the morning light.
Together we'd fly
across the dark lonely sky.
The moon and the sea,
that's you and me-
our celestial, terrestial,
cosmic destiny.
