I LOVE YOU
by Joseph Solomos Josephides
I was afraid you would not look at me,
but you did so.
I was afraid you would not hug me,
but you did that also.
I was afraid you would not kiss me,
but you did as well.
Now that we have each other
I am afraid I sleep with a shadow,
And you sleep with a shadow
As long as we don?t exchange and share
Those three little words.
Without those, there is no
oxygen to join up our lips...
one mouth,
one breath,
one voice,
one soul.
