Live a Little Lovely
by dave  s

Live a little, Lovely,
Love a little more,
Lay your heart out on the table
Where you spilled your tears before.

Dream tonight, my darling,
Drift away today,
Dig a hole into the sand
And hide your hateful ways.

Fly down south, dear faithful,
Free your burdened mind,
Forget your flaws, fear infested days
And leave the past behind.

Break your worry, sweet beauty,
Blow my heart away,
Bleed your lies onto the floor
And clean the stains away.

Provide your love, dear precious,
Plead for my love back,
Proceed to tell me all your thoughts
And the answers you still lack.

Live a little, Lovely,
Love a little more,
Let me have your heart and soul
And the laughs I so adore.

Dream tonight, my darling,
Drift away today,
And, in the morning, feel the comfort
That my love will never go away.
