A secret view
by leigh richard denny
I found you sat amongst the crowd,
Within a moment spent alone,
Sat beautiful and proud,
As then as I had always known,
You found me, held my gaze,
Smiled and lit the air,
Burnt it to a haze,
Our surroundings- but a blur.
Then it was, my only sight
Was you, against the human void,
Eclipsed in sheer delight
I?d never felt so overjoyed,
Witness to a secret view,
My heart's request for glory;
Amongst the crowd, I?d found you,
And beauty shone before me.
