Guardian of the Flame
by Llyssah Ann Goyak

Whispered upon a magical, moonlit night
Caught by a shooting star?s light
Twinkling as if hearing this plea:

"I beseech thee, Oh heavens above!
Hear my cries for true love
The keeper of my heart?s key

On swift wings guide him now
For on this day I vow
Once together, we never will part

And with him I shall proclaim
To be guardian of eternal flame
That burns in true love?s heart!"
