Something's Missing
by Luke O. Dipo

A lost touch for which I crave,
a longing that shadows my mind.
Like a whispering phantom that
tortures me with... "something's missing."

 Memories of perfect bliss float
in my head, like burning nightmares.
Memories of a new love bring no comfort,
for there is... "something missing."

 My heart desperatly searching for
what once was, always ending empty
handed. Craving that niche in Nirvana, yet
numb to the 'way' for... "something's missing."

Hopefully when we're put to the test
and we're looking into each other's eyes,
and you're waiting for, "I love you, too,"
your wait not be long because... "something's missing."
