Reality
by Luke O. Dipo

Embracing a cold 'what once was,'
Chasing an angelic phantom.
Searching for void's fit,
Finding ruins as foundation.

Trying to find 'self'
Scared of reality's hurtful touch.
Stuck in purgatory's vice,
Armaggedon prying on the outside.

How is life?
When death be the preferred company?
How is this love?
When echo answers echoes?

Where's the incentive?
For me... there be none.
